Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy, principally through the home visit, in the tradition of its founder, Frederick Ozanam, and patron, Vincent de Paul.

Vincentians live out the corporal and spiritual works of mercy, putting into concrete action the mercy and love of Jesus Christ.
